Hello! It’s been a while. This newsletter took a long winter’s nap, and there really wasn’t much to report, but spring has sprung and there’s shilling to be done. Specifically for those of you who attended Bouchercon last year and/or are attending this year and have an Anthony Awards ballot you have yet to fill out. I’m here to help! In addition to my own stuff, here are my nominations in several of the big categories.
I also recommend The One Percent: Tales of the Super Wealthy and Depraved from Rock and a Hard Place for best anthology. That’s where you’ll find my story “Most Likely to Succeed.”
In other awards news, Lowdown Road is nominated for an Edgar Award for Best Paperback Original from the Mystery Writers of America! If you follow the link above, you’ll find a video roundtable I participated in with the other nominees. The awards are just over a week away, and my bride and I will be attending the ceremony in New York. It’s quite exciting, as you might imagine. Lowdown Road has also snagged a Best Paperback Original nomination for a Barry Award! Those will be announced during the opening ceremonies of this year’s Bouchercon in Nashville.
I think that’s it! I’ll have a full wrap-up of the Edgars for you soon, and hopefully some exciting announcements in the not-too-distant future.
